Three layers to a better comparison
A brand profile explains a company’s product focus and published story. A product description narrows that to a format or formulation. A batch report describes a particular production lot. Keeping those layers separate makes comparisons more useful: a well-known company may offer very different products, while two jars with the same cultivar name may carry different measured results.
Start with what you can verify
Write down the exact product name, package size and format. For a device or pod, include the compatible hardware. For an edible, distinguish the amount per piece from the total package. If a menu omits a field, ask the retailer instead of filling the gap from an old review or another state’s listing.
Use the Atlas in San Jose
Filter the directory by format, then compare up to three profiles. Use the questions on each profile as a shopping checklist. A brand profile is a starting point, not an inventory feed. Open the current retailer menu to confirm availability, pricing and the actual package you would receive.
